ECCET Micro Tunnelling can offer a range of solutions from 600mm to 1800mm diameter, using dry or slurry techniques.
ECCET Micro Tunnelling equipment was manufactured by Herrenkenecht, Akkerman and Iseki. Our equipment is steerable and
accurate therefore suitable for installation of gravity sewers. With no man entry required to the Micro Tunnel machine,
it is possible to work below water table and in unstable grounds.
Each of these machines is available with soft, mixed or rock Cutter Heads. The Micro Tunnelling equipment is capable of mining through a
variety of ground conditions ranging from wet sands to hard rock up to 400MPa. This method is the preferred method of
tunnelling for leading rail networks and highway authorities when crossing their infrastructure.
Every project is unique, therefore each and every tunnelling machine is bespoke to the client and project needs.
